JSCC Taster Day 2014 Report

The first JSCC Taster day held at the Tockwith Motorsports venue, was an excellent event. Albeit a little wind at the venue, we were thankful for the weather staying dry.

The Taster day gave new and prospective juniors an opportunity to drive the cars, which competed in the 2014 championship including Ben Mills‘ race winning car.

Howard Hunt provided driving tuition to all new drivers, and helped them get used to driving the cars at speed, whilst negotiating the bends and clutch/gear controls.

Needless to say there were some good examples of drivers, showing great driving potential for the 2015 Junior Saloon Car Championship. So much so, we’re really looking forward to this year’s championship.

Thank you to everyone who helped out on the day including Tockwith Motorsports, for allowing us to use their venue, and 2014 JSCC Competitors – James Dorlin, Ben Mills, Edward Moore and Scott Mitchell for taking people out on track rides.

If you missed this Taster day, and are interested in attending another one prior to the 2015 season starting, please contact Dave BeecroftÂ
